THANKSGIVING

Last Thursday was Thanksgiving.
In the English class, we read a text about it and we discovered that in the USA people have a big dinner together and then say what they are thankful for.
We did this last activity and with our reasons to be thankful we have decorated the corridor.

Calm music

Every afternoon we start the class calming down for 5 minutes. Experts believe that emotions influence learning so, if the students come nervous from the lunch break, it will be very difficult for them to focus on what the teacher is explaining.

We have been doing it since the year start, and by now, some of the students are becoming experts in being relaxed.

Aunque el segundo ISBN del libro de Harry Potter que os pasé es correcto, parece ser que hay dificultades para conseguirlo puesto que está agotado.

EXAMS!

The Botanical Garden by 6 A students

Last week, we went to the Botanical garden in Madrud. We were on the bus singing and talking, when we saw a very big door of stone, with lots of trees and plants on the inside.
We entered, and we saw lots of strange plants. We saw a woman called Clara that showed us all the garden.
First, she showed us a very big and wide tree of Mexico. It was amazing and really old!
Then, she showed us all the fruits, vegetables,  pods, legumes  and we played a game where we had to find several plants.
Next, we entered on a room that had lots of cactus and strange but interesting plants!
Finally, shw showed us some photos of strange orchids:one of monkeys, another of a lip and many more....
I enjoyed it a lot, it was a fantastic experience!

PELAYO

We went to the Botanical garden in Madrid on the 8th  of October. First, we took a bus to go there. We had lots of fun.When we arrived there was a guide waiting for us. Her name was Clara.
We saw different kinds of trees, plants and flowers. We also saw the biggest tree in the garden. It was amazing.Next, we visited a vegetable garden and we played a game.
What I really liked was the greenhouse, because there are lots of exotic plants. I didn't like the smell of strange fruit.
Fibally, we went back to school. I really enjoyed the school trip because I learnt lots of interesting things.

BEATRIZ

Last Thursday I went to the Botanical Garden of Madrid with my school class. A guide showed us many types of plants. First we saw poisonous plants and aromatic plants like Salvia. Then, we saw one of the oldest trees of Madrid, it was more than 250 years old. The most amazing thing I saw in the Botanical garden was the cacti greenhouse. There were many types of cactus but we couldn't touch them because they hurt a lot.  I loved this trip!

MARIO

Last Thursday we went to a school trip to the botanic garden. A woman that worked there , explained us lots of things. First, we saw a chestnut tree and she explained us the different types of chestnuts. Then we saw the biggest tree in the garden, it was enormous!
Next, we went to see different fruits and vegetables. Finally, we went to the greenhouse. What I liked the most was when we saw  the greenhouse because it had lots of  plants from different places. What I liked the least was the chestnut tree. I had lots of fun at the Botanical Garden because we saw lots of beautiful and interesting plants.

Our school trip to the Botanical Garden by our 6B students

Last Thursday we went to the Botanical Garde. We saw different plants and trees, we also learnt about fungi that atacks the trees and how they defend. When we were in the garden we saw many planes in the sky because it was the trial for "El día de la Hispaindad".
What I liked the most was the part of the orchard because we could see carrots, lettuce, potatoes, strawberries.. But what i liked the lieat was that the man talked too much and we didn't have time to see everything. In general I liked the visit.

The last Thursday 8th, we went to the Botanical Garden with the class and teachers. First, we divided into two classes, B and A. I was with B and we started looking at the flowers. Then, we looked at the oldest trees and they explained us that Carlos III sent to plant them. Next, we went to a  garden, there we saw fruits and vegetables and I think it was the most exciting thing,and i liked the most. The thing I liked the least was that there were many insects. Finally, we went to a greenhouse and we saw cactus. In my opinion the school trip was OK.

Last week we went to the Botanical Garden. We saw many different types of plants. I learnt the different parts of the plants. We went by bus and I sat with Bea. When we arrived we started the visit. First, we went to see some spine trees. Then, some very big trees. Later, we learnt the history of the garden. As we were doing the visit, we saw many planes and helicopters flying. That was the most exciting thing and what i liked the most, Finally, we saw cactus and sensory plants. I didn't like  very much the Botanical garden but I didn't have class.
